Educational settings

As I shared earlier in my story when I left school, I was unsure what I wanted do next, but what I did feel was pressure to make the “right decision” and “enter my career for life”.
I remember feeling so lost, and with little support or opportunities to explore different career avenues apart from the universal employment options, which I knew deep down was not the career path for me.


 

Why do I want to support students?
Because I have been there!!

  • Lost and overwhelmed

  • Experiencing feelings of stress/ anxiety & pressure.

  • Lacking confidence & self-belief in my decision making

  • Inability to set realistic goals and aspirations & adhere to- subsequently further impacting on my levels of confidence.

  • Offering students with the opportunity to access coaching and workshops alongside their chosen studies, provides them with further character and personal development opportunities.

 

 

What I want to equip students with

Group Coaching

Allows for students to be part of small group session which has a key topic or theme, focusing upon their own character and personal development.
These sessions will be facilitated by myself, ensuring this is a protected environment for all students (between 6-8 people).

 

  • Supporting your students and staff to create a safe and secure space where they feel confident and comfortable to share and encourage one another.

  • The ability to bringing awareness & reflection to individuals 

  • Helping to improve a collaborative approach to class and teams

  • Preparation for future employment

  • Discussions around increasing self-esteem & confidence

1-1 Individual coaching for students & staff.
 

Due to the sessions being delivered in an individual basis, they will be tailored to the need and want of the individual.

DISC Profiling
 

DISC Profiling is a behaviour assessment, that allows employers to identify their employee’s strengths and weaknesses, providing individuals with more self-awareness, and increased communication & collaboration as part of a team.

In 2022 I began working with university students at UA92. 
On an individual 1-2-1 basis and within group coaching sessions

Erin started coaching with us back in September 2022 as part of a new initiative at UA92 providing coaching to all students.

 

Her approach has proven extremely popular with our students both through 1:1 and small group coaching sessions.

Feedback from Erin's students consistently highlights positive improvement in confidence in themselves and their own abilities in and outside of their study. 

Erin has worked with every student on their terms, adapted sessions to accommodate their needs, and really given them space to reflect on their own journey, empowering them to set goals, create action plans and go at their own pace.
